Anniversary Celebrations
In 2007 we celebrated the 30th anniversary of Literacy Aotearoa Dunedin.
On 26 September we had a party to launch a book about our organisation's origins and development, Literacy Aotearoa Dunedin 1977-2007: A Patchwork History. We were delighted to welcome a large number of current members to this event as well as some key members from the organisation's past, including Rosalie Somerville, Ruth Gilmore, Sr Mary de Lourdes, Lala Frazer, Hazel Scoles and Janet Yiakmis.

The Op Shop Queens also embellished a panel and helped to sew and assemble the quilt. The colourful quilt still decorates the foyer outside our rooms.
